Last day of Outpost :(

Jeremy picks up a new set of recruits tomorrow morning. We have been so blessed to have him home with us the last 5 weeks. He still went to work but only half days. 13 weeks of nonstop work 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday start tomorrow! I can't believe it is already here. Today on his last day home with us he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese's with us. What a great Daddy he is. David has so much fun! I think Jeremy and I did too :)

Sunday Funday!!!!

Sunday we spent the day just playing outside. David loves playing in the water and doing anything outside.

David and Julia reunite

Julia and David had a reunion at the Charleston Children's Museum. They had so much fun playing with the water, pirate ship, shopping carts and golf balls. It was SO good to see Beth and Julia. We sure do miss them in Germany:) It has been 11 months since David and Julia have seen eachother. They didn't skip a beat though. Those two are so sweet together. We miss Brian, Beth and Julia so much. David asks to play with Julia atleast 3 times a week. Best Friends 4-ever! Here are some pictures of our visit!

Their hug goodbye made me cry like a baby! The Bauder's are going to be great friends for life! XoXo

Toilet talk and Crooked House

So I know these two things do not go together at all, but I'm so behind on blogging they do today. Ha!

We have 3 bathrooms in our house and the master toilet and downstairs one were both acting funny. I let it slide a couple of days until the water would not flush at all. I called the maintenance to come out to fix them. I wasn't home when they came, so they "fixed it" and left a note saying all fixed! Yeah right!!!! They came in with a plunger did both toilets and left. Well of course that fixes it temporarily. So the next morning I called again. They came with the snake thing, the water vac all the tools. After 2 hours and 45 mins this is what we found...

Daphne and Scooby were in the master bathroom and poor Thomas in the downstairs one. :(

Now we lock all bathroom doors and David will not do that again.

The Crooked House was so much fun to go play at. About 5 mins from the house is a really cool playground and David has so much fun playing at it. This was back in February when we went. I am so behind on blogging like I said.

Gunnery Sergeant Kimbrell

On Monday March 1st, Jeremy was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant Kimbrell. His promotion ceremony was on base at the Iwo Jima Memorial. The marines of 1st Battalion Charlie Company were there also. Jeremy wanted David and I to pin on his new chevrons .....huge mistake! I told Jeremy that David was too young to understand. The ceremony was outside to of course David wanted nothing to do with either one of us. But most important, we were both there to support Jeremy. Here are some of the pictures...

We are so proud of Jeremy! Keep up the good work Gunny!
