Playdates with Friends

We have been so busy around here lately. I have a couple of different post to upload today. :) First we have been hanging out with our lil' buddies! We went bowling with our friends Drake and Karis. David loves playing with them and it's even better that they live across the street so we see eachother often. David and Karis

We had our other friends Aiden and Ethan come over to our house and play. David loves playing with them. Their mom, Vanessa, and I go to the gym together so they get to play together a lot. They are so funny when they play together.

And I wanted to say Happy 7th Birthday to Teygue! You are getting to be such a big guy now. We love you so much!

The Big 10!!!!!!

Today is my precious niece's 10th birthday! We love you so much! Happy Birthday Peytan!

So not a good Blogger

I feel bad...I just started this and already, SLACKING! I thought I would have more time to blog and upload pictures and videos. Well it looks like once a week is going to be about all the time I get. Jeremy works 14-18 hours a day, 7 days a week. So it's just me and David all day everyday. :) But I love every minute I have with him and we both cherish any minute we get to spend with Jeremy.
Here's a picture from this past week. We've been at home a lot. It seems everyone is sick, and we don't need that. So here's David being David...a true Boy! Dirt and fun
Then here are some pictures that make me laugh. David had so much hair when he was a baby and we loved doing crazy things with it and taking his pictures. And look at those big ole eyes...too funny.

A recap of 2009

Every year just keeps getting better and better. 2009 was a wonderful year for us. We traveled in Europe, visited with family, moved to South Carolina and enjoyed every minute spent as a family.

January

We started the year off living in Frankfurt, Germany with Snow! David wanted to play in it all day. It snowed off and on the month of January and David loved it. So did we :)

February

David helped me make cookies for his first Valentine

David's first Valentine was Julia. They were so sweet together and they are going to be friends forever. Julia's mom, Beth, and I will make sure of it.

March
David and I would walk to music class every Wednesday. He loved it. We met so many great friends in that class that we will keep for many years.

we enjoyed going to all the indoor play areas that Frankfurt had too.

April

We took David to Playmobil Funpark in Zirndorf, Germany. The park had so many fun things to do. There were Lego areas, beach area, water tables, playgrounds, farm animals, pirate ships. You name it was there. I wish David was older to enjoy all the things they had there to do.

May

Jeremy spoiled me all month for Mother's day. He first took me Kos, Greece

We left David with our friends and went to London for the weekend. It was AMAZING!

June

We moved back to the good ole USA on June 1st. It was really hard to leave all the wonderful friends we had made in Germany but we were so ready to get back here to see family and........SHOP!!!! Oh how I missed Target and Wal-Mart. In June David got to go to his first Major League Baseball game. The Houston Astros!

David went to his first day of school. And did so good. (It's just drop-off childcare. I only take him when I have an appointment or something to go to or just want time to myself. But it is a big thing.)

I started going to the gym to get back in shape. (Sorry no pictures of the workouts :)) I took David bowling for the first time. It will be a couple years before we do that again. He got bored quick.

2009 was such a great year for us. We enjoyed watching David grow. He says some of the funniest things. He loves to tell us he loves us and my favorite. "Your pretty Mommy!" Oh I just love it :)
